Adversary air provider commences full operations in Nordholz

Nordholz, Germany – February 04, 2022 – ΑρΑ«Φ±²¥, an airborne adversary training provider to the German Armed Forces since 2015, announced today that it has completed its temporary relocation from Wittmund to Nordholz.

“ΑρΑ«Φ±²¥’ fleet of fighter jets, hangar and maintenance facility will be stationed in Nordholz for the next two to three years as the Wittmund Air Base undergoes extensive renovations,” said Rolf Brandt, Senior Program Manager, ΑρΑ«Φ±²¥ German Operations.

ΑρΑ«Φ±²¥ has been supporting the German Armed Forces with contracted adversary air support at the Wittmund Air Base since 2015. Under a renewed service agreement, ΑρΑ«Φ±²¥ began operating from the Nordholz Naval Air Base in January of this year.

“While we are sad to be leaving Wittmund and our many friends, even if only temporarily, we’re thrilled to join the community of Nordholz and are extremely grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received,” added Brandt.

ΑρΑ«Φ±²¥’ employees and their families have already settled in the Nordholz/Cuxhaven region and are enjoying the hospitality of local residents, restaurants, hotels and services.

With a focus on operational safety, ΑρΑ«Φ±²¥ adheres to all Naval Air Wing 3 and local noise abatement procedures. Its missions are coordinated with the Nordholz Base Operations Center and the Bundeswehr.
